For those with a passion for extraordinary cuisine and wine, Zealous is the place to experience it. In its 18th year, Chef/Owner Michael Taus and his dedicated team prepare unique contemporary American dishes with global influences. A Short Stack of Mango Pancakes with Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Sunnyside-up Quail Egg and Savory Caramel Sauce, a Sesame Crusted Chilean Sea Bass with Pan-fried Rice Noodles and Red Coconut Curry Sauce, and a decadent Caramelized Banana Tiramisu with a Macadamia Nut Brittle Crust dessert are just a few examples of how patrons will be gastronomic globetrotting with every bite. These tasty dishes change frequently, so there is always something new to experience at Zealous.
Zealous is an urban oasis located in Chicago’s friendly River North neighborhood. Designed by New York architect William Leeds, this converted warehouse is a contemporary loft-like warm and tranquil space. A cool palette of muted earth hues and mossy greens accentuate the room’s spaciousness. The visual focus of the dining room is the 15-foot glass-enclosed wine cellar that houses the restaurant’s 750+ wine selections sure to please all types of wine enthusiasts. The private dining room with a view of the wine cellar, and an elegant bar and lounge area make it the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion for a party of two, or to enjoy an energetic dinner before a night on the town for a party of ten.
Zealous is located in Chicago at 419 West Superior, approximately 1 and 1/2 blocks west of Orleans in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

Zealous is available for corporate and private dinner parties on Sunday and Monday.
The restaurant is also available for private luncheons Tuesday thru Saturday.
Parking: Plenty of neighborhood street parking available.
Metered parking until 9:00pm on Superior Street.
After 9:00pm street parking is free.
